a few thoughts
I had high hopes for writing more daily blog posts and then reality smacked those hopes in the face this week.
Anyway, here are a few thoughts I have had recently or today.
..............................................................................................
1. I am okay with losing my eyesight because I am drinking too much coffee. I mean, it will just sharpen my sense of taste and smell, right? I could be happy sniffing and tasting coffee for the rest of my life. I'll enjoy my 3-4 cups of coffee even more I bet. I was thinking though...does it make it even worse if you don't add anything to your coffee? Like if you're a black drinker like me, am I going to lose my eyesight even faster than those that use cream and sugar?
Here's the news flash if you missed it.
Coffee leads to eyesight loss = I am screwed
2. The vast amount of erotica I've been reading is in direct contrast to the vast amounts of YA I've been reading. I'm assuming these two genres balance each other out. Or that I am horribly unintelligent/unenlightened (take your pick) for not reading anything else.
3. I would love to someday be in a relationship with a man who was stronger than me. I don't mean in physical bearing, but in spirit. I am, by nature, a very strong person. Whether I give the impression that I need someone or something doesn't mean that I do not. Everyone needs someone at times. I guess what I'm saying is that it would be nice, if for once, I was the one cherished and cossetted instead of always being the cherisher/cossetter (these aren't even words, right?)
4. This does not mean I want a man doing my laundry. Thanks for offering though.
5. Now that I think about it this jackhole I dated for a long time used to always want to do my laundry, and I was always so like resistant. The thing with him though-it wasn't sincere. It was like he wanted to go through the motions of "taking care of me" but when it got to the really important stuff he wouldn't or couldn't or refused to do it.
Anyway, it's not that I don't appreciate the thought, but, if you don't own a bottle of Woolite and read the bottle and know that you must wash my Woolite loads in cold water on the delicate setting, then I just can't trust you. Woolite is a deal breaker for me.
6. This blog is nothing if not instructional for any man who wishes to do my laundry for me in the future.
7. I have my new New York Giants tee for the 2012 season (I buy one a season which means I have a drawer full of tank tops, tees, jerseys, and sweatshirts). Here is the new tee, same old boobs photo I tweeted earlier. I am posting this here for purely narcissistic reasons.
I am a Sagittarius. This is my nature.
Anyway, my boobs look really good in this shirt, and I've been feeling low about my appearance for a few weeks so let us celebrate one of the few times I actually think my body looks hot.
8. Enough of my boobs (that's what that jackhole ex said too- he was a thigh man- don't ask)... let's talk TV.
Early impressions:
- I am not feeling this "Vegas" thing, but my mother is which makes me feel like I'm missing something important because my mother and I share the same tastes, brain, soul, heart, etc.
- What I am feeling? "The Mob Doctor". Yep. Even I can't believe it. I really dig on the show. I don't dig so much on the hospital storylines (unless they're mob-related), but the show is okey dokey (said in The Swedish Chef's voice). Love, love, love, love, the cast.
- As discussed this afternoon on Twitter with Lis, I cannot take another murder mystery hour long drama. I just can't. I can see where that "Elementary" show is not so bad (I watched two eppies), but I just can't sit and watch yet another detective or lawyer or whoever solve a crime a week.
-I really liked the "Made in Jersey" pilot and the actress, but, again, second episode she's solving a murder. No. I just cannot do it. Also regarding Jersey... why lose Pablo Schreiber? I mean, it's Pablo Schreiber. Yes, I have a tremendous crush.
- Of everything new that I've watched, I would say my favorites are: "Last Resort" (SERIOUSLY good and, of course, it's going to be canceled like tomorrow), "Ben and Kate" (I defy you not to laugh once in the first two episodes- DEFY), and "Partners" (yes, I realize I am the only one who likes this sitcom-don't care. It's charming and makes me laugh and the chemistry between all four leads is extraordinary).
Honorable Mentions to: "The Mindy Project", "The Mob Doctor", "The New Normal"... I think there's something else but I can't remember right now.
9. About the erotica. I am reading way too much of it because I'm becoming desensitized to certain sexual acts. Is this the same thing that happens to men who watch a lot of porn online? Still not into the bondage stuff though. I don't know. To me, the punishment part of it always seems so cruel. I don't mind a nice spank on the ass, but I would probably bite the nose off a man who came at me with a flogger in his hand.
Clearly I am not a "natural born Submissive" (see 80% of the erotica I've read in the last year). No judgment if you like it either. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other. If you are into it though, I would love to ask you about those butt plugs. Don't they hurt?
10. Well, this was fun. We should do this again next Sunday since it appears I only have thoughts of a blogworthy nature on Sundays.
Anyway, here are a few thoughts I have had recently or today.
