a return to television (2013 edition)

This has become an annual thing.  I decided. Just now. Because I'm bored. And I'll dedicate to Whimsy again because she asked again.

Last year I listed what I would and would not be watching.  Link is here:  2012's return to television

Please note that I am posting this exactly a year to the day I posted last year. You know why?  Because I'm awesome and bored (still).

Last year was a total wash because I so totally got into "Arrow". I mean, like I really got into "Arrow". Also, I'm still watching "Revolution". I know, I know. I ENJOY WATCHING IT. I don't know why. It's a thing.

And while I'm on the subject of crappy TV shows that I watch, let me address this to assholes who think their opinion on my shows is of any interest to me... Shut the fuck up.  I don't tell you what I think about your crappy taste in music, books, television, sports, and/or politics so keep yours to yourself.  Oh and feel free to unfollow me.  I'll return the favor happily.

Yeah, I'm a little peeved about the aforementioned assholes.

I digress.

Most of the new shows I watched last year were canceled which is no surprise, but I'm still smarting over "Ben and Kate". It was FUCKING good. Oh and I totally liked "The Mob Doctor". I know it was doomed, but I got off on it.  William Forsythe was fantastic.  James Carpinello was outstanding. They shot it in Chicago. It just needed a different name. Also a different network probably...

Let's focus on 2013's Fall TVseason...

What I Am/Will Be Watching (new shows):
The Blacklist  - This pilot was so fucking good that I've watched it 3 times now.
Hostages -  I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would.  I'm in.
Sleepy Hollow -  Tom Mison is in it and so am I
Brooklyn Nine -Nine - I'm in.
Dads - I will watch anything Peter Reigert chooses to grace with his presence.
Masters of Sex -  I'm in.  I'm way in.  I'm in like that big glass vibrator in the pilot in.
Hello Ladies - Stephen Merchant
Welcome to the Family - I laughed watching this pilot. I laughed a lot.
The Michael J. Fox Show - I laughed and Katie Finneran and Wendell Pierce.
Marvel's Agents of Shield - or whatever the hell the title is

What I Am/Will Continue To Watch (old shows):
Homeland
American Horror Story
Parenthood
Revenge
Mike and Molly (I'm done)
Raising Hope
The Office (RIP - sniffle)
Scandal
Grey's Anatomy (I'm done)
Private Pactice  (RIP - sniffle)
The Good Wife
Parks & Rec
Law & Order: SVU
Modern Family
Blue Bloods
Nashville
Haven
Last Man Standing  (I know one other person who watches this and she agrees with me - Mandy is awesome)
Arrow
Once Upon a Time

What I Absolutely Will Not Get Sucked Into NO MATTER WHAT (I have my reasons):
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (is this what it's called? I'm purposely not paying attention to it)
We Are Men
Mom
Lucky 7
That James Caan sitcom that Whimsy reminded me of that I still don't know the title of.
IRONSIDE (because some of us remain loyal to Raymond Burr and Don Galloway-a very few of us I'm sure, but I'm making a stand here)

What I've Already Tried And Decided No, No, Not Watching This:
The Goldbergs  (too noisy for me)
Trophy Wife  (I am exhausted of big family sitcoms - I may just be exhausted of child actors)
The Crazy Ones (history will prove that I detest all David E. Kelley TV shows, this is no exception)

What I May Try But Haven't Made Up My Mind Yet:
Dracula
The Sean Hayes show that I actually don't know the title of.
We Are the Millers (is this right?)
Super Fun Night
The Originals

What I Didn't Want to Watch But Got Sucked Into:
Betrayal
Masterchef Junior

I'm totally forgetting something(s) but my laptop is freaking out, and I need a cocktail so I'll just revise as it occurs to me.
