impatient, impatient, impatient

And this is yet another TV post!

I am so freaking impatient for the "Game of Thrones" S2 finale tonight that I cannot handle my own self.

I also may have had too much coffee today but this is neither here nor there!

GAME OF THRONES!

Anyway, I don't really have much to say about anything else. Too many doctor's appointment, too much trying to get rest and get well, too much aching head to read...that sums up my week.  But I should be writing more and my lone fan seems to enjoy what I have to say (waving at Jim).

Let's see what I can randomly talk to Jim about.

1.) I awoke at 5am to watch 5 hours of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Totally. Worth. It.

2.) Yes, I am a rather large Anglophile. In fact, around the time the National Philharmonic was playing "Land of Hope & Glory" in front of the Queen, I realized I've been living my entire life in the wrong country. And I was born in another country (not England-sadly) so that's saying a lot.

3.) This morning the local weather said it was going to be 91 degrees in the Valley which means it gets to be like 83 where I live. It's been a super nice day with a beautiful breeze. Weatherpersons know fuck all.

4.) Of course, I've been sitting in front of my laptop, my other laptop, and my TV for the entirety of the day so what would I know about the weather?  (I have a window.)

5.) I sort of stumbled upon the male dog of my housemates sort of sexually assaulting the much smaller female dog of my housemates. I mean, I know it's instinct and all, but I had to stop myself from rushing outside and protecting the female dog. She escaped his clutches on her own but, still, I felt so violated in some way. This is bizarre. Forget I wrote this.

6.) I was watching this British Invasion concert on PBS last night (shut up!) because it was on in place of The Lawrence Welk Show (shut up again!). So it was an old concert because Peter & Gordon performed and I knew that Gordon had passed away in the last few years. My point is this...that one song of theirs...about love in the world??? I can't remember the title.

Anyway, they played that song and even though it's been what? 40 years? They were pitch perfect. It was magical. This song!

7.) Also, Eric Burdon performed. What a beast of a voice. Still rocking. I'm guessing this was filmed in like 2008 maybe?  It was a REALLY good concert, but I missed a lot due to the Kings game.

8.) The Kings! You know, I'm totally bandwagon'ing because I haven't been a good or even devoted fan of the LA Kings since 1995-1996. I had a bad experience at a Kings game around that time and while I remained an LA Kings fan in theory. I really didn't do much game watching or fann'ing. Anyway, I figure when I am at least a tertiary member of a fandom and it's actually a team that's from the same general area that I live in (all my other teams are New York centric) that it's okay for me to jump on the bandwagon.

I think they take it this year. They want it more.

9.) GAME OF THRONES!!!!!

10.)  And finally...

Contrary to everything you would have thought and know about me and my own personal beliefs, I have somehow become a RABID fan of "The Client List". I'm not even ashamed either. This is pure shirtless male porn.

It's also not a bad TV show.

And, yes, I think this proves that I watch too much TV.
