Adios 2015 ....

Everyone is writing these wonderful, thoughtful memoirs about their accomplishments in the last year, and I can't think of a single goddamn thing I did.

Well, I picked up A LOT of dog shit and not all of it was my little shit's shit.  Fucking neighbors.

Here's a random sampling of my year in review.

1.  I walked my dog 2-3 times every day for the last year save 3-5 days off for cramps.

2.  Finally completed all the available levels on Cookie Jam then learned the frustration of having to wait for them to unlock new levels.

3.  My parents and I successfully went an entire year without speaking to my horrible aunt. It was liberating.

4.  I only watched one Netflix series in its entirety. Seriously. I am the worst at binge watching. I think my entire existence devoted to network television gets in the way of binge'ing.

5.   That one series was "Bloodline".  It was worth it.

6.  Every other series I left off at episode five except for the "Wet Hot American Summer" prequel thingie which I think I made it to episode six of.  I'm telling you - I am the worst.

7.  I did not complete my Goodreads reading challenge this year. FUCK Goodreads. I purposely slowed my reading because they pissed me off by emailing me every three months telling me how far behind in the reading challenge I was.

8.  Best book I DID read this year was "Hold On" by Kristen Ashley.

9.  Cut way down on my Twitter participation because, really, after eight years, I think I've tweeted all that I can tweet, and the changes to the timeline make it impossible for me to enjoy my feed the way I used to.   Still on Twitter it was a fucking awesome year to be a Mets fan, a not-so-glorious year to be a NY Giants fan, and that night that Steve Harvey fucked up the Miss Universe reveal made me laugh harder than the day that Wes Welker signed with the Denver Broncos.

That day remains the best and funniest day on Twitter ever.

10. Finally, I somehow miraculously made it to 11:43pm on December 31, 2015 without opening up the gallon of rocky road ice cream in the freezer.  This alone might be the the greatest feat of them all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
