Happy New Year's
Resolutions? We don't need no stinking resolutions. (we really don't and I never intend to ever keep a single fucking one)
Still, it's always nice to dream.
In 2013...
I will read more than just YA and New Adult Contemporary and Erotica this year.
(possibly but really who are we kidding? also, just keep on inventing these genres, publishers, I love being able to throw new genres around in conversation)
I will be a more sincere person.
(not fucking likely)
I will drink less.
(laughing)
I will stop obsessing over unavailable men.
(laughing even harder)
I will watch less television.
(whatever, dude, "Justified" starts January 8, Game of Thrones S3 is back in 3 months, and I'm not giving up hatewatching "Smash" even if my life depended on it)
I will clean up my filthy mouth.
(fuck you)
I will spend more time with my real life friends than I do tweeting with strangers.
(the problem here is that I cannot 'mute' real life friends)
I will exercise more.
(holding my sides in laughter)
I will finish that novel I began about twenty years ago.
( haven't even finished the story I started writing two days ago)
I will no longer wake up in strange beds with men whose names I cannot remember.
(this has never, EVER, happened to me, she decries innocently)
I will be a better person.
(how can you improve upon perfection though?)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
